The latest iteration in Flight Club ’91s from Jordan Brand pay homage to the brands early ’90s aesthetic. Taking design queues from both the Air Jordan VI and VII, the sneaker features a speckled black midsole enveloped by a bright citrus and deep royal blue. Scheduled for release in May, the “Knicks” will retail at $140 USD alongside two pre-existing colorways: Gym Red/Black – Midnight Stadium and Black/White – Flat Pewter. The later two are currently available at Nike for $135 USD.

The tried and true Nike Air Max 95 has seen plenty of colorways hit stores, so what else can Nike do give it some new life? Some new materials would be nice, but more of these gradient Max Air units would be nice. This Air Max 95 release uses a basic all-black upper, but gives it a nice punch with the red/yellow contrast on the Swoosh and with the sick Air unit that we feel should be much more common in releases (or better yet, on Nike iD).

Like the debut collection from Billy Reid and K-Swiss, the Spring/Summer 2013 edition features a worn-in aesthetic that’s the hallmark of the range. Made up of the Venice Surf & Court in eight individual styles, the collection is inspired by the early ’80s period when the Louisiana-born designer lived in Southern California, wearing a pair of K-Swiss canvas sneakers he bought from a surf shop in Manhattan Beach. The kicks — featuring seven low-top silhouettes and a lone high-top — are finished with suede, leather or canvas uppers, feature rope laces and a comfortable terry cloth lining, as well as brass eyelets and vents.
