UK-based car manufacturer, Caterham, are best known for their lightweight high-performance cars and their latest model, the Caterham Seven 620R, is taking them to the next level. Set to make its first public appearance at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, the 620R features a gunmetal chassis, a race-tuned cooling system, and a new nose specifically designed for optimal airflow. The car’s interior features carbon fiber seats and a Q/R race steering wheel, and will be powered by a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine that boasts 0-60mph in 2.79 seconds.

The limited edition collection comes as a collaboration with retailer WP Lavori in which it aims to pay homage to classic Americana and its rustic heritage. Refashioning the iconic Woolrich Arctic Parka, each outerwear piece is hand-sprayed, hand-stitched and washed to exhibit a vintage, worn-in look. Furthermore, the hand-stitched and embroidered American flag on its left sleeve pays tribute to the brand’s longstanding roots in U.S. garment history. With a price tag of $995 USD, the six-piece “Aged to Perfection” capsule collection will be available at retailers worldwide, as well as the Woolrich John Rich & Bros. online store – relaunching this fall – beginning in October.

After laying dormant for almost 10 years, British performance car company TVR has been revived and with it the Sagaris. The story is that Russian owner Nikolai Smolenski bought the British carmaker back in 2004 for approximately £15 million pounds, but hadn’t produced a vehicle under the brand since the purchase. It was only recently that UK entrepreneur Les Edgar bought TVR from Smolenski for an undisclosed price. By the sounds of it, the raw, animal-like Sagaris is just the beginning as Edgar plans to bring back the marque in full force while retaining its British pride, saying, “You can’t let these great brands disappear or go abroad. The starting point was ‘let’s get it back.’”
