While mirrorless cameras may be the future, Nikon won't be putting a stop to its traditional DSLR line anytime soon. They've just announced their new D7200 and they're hoping to attract buyers with a lightweight body and a robust feature set that made the previous model so popular with shooters.
The camera features a 24 megapixel DX-format sensor no optical low-pass filter for the sharpest images possible. Couple that with their new EXSPEED 4 processing engine and their 51-point Auto-Focus and you'll have more than enough capability to help you nail that shot every time. You also have Full HD video recording, a built-in Time-Lapse mode, NFC and Wi-Fi for remote shutter and image sharing, and compatibility with their ME-W1 wireless microphone accessory.
The D7200 starts at $1,199.
