Nikon is bringing more muscle into its 1 series camera line with the new Nikon 1 J5 ($497 at amazon), a powerful new interchangeable compact that delivers a new sensor and high-speed photography. The camera now features a 20 megapixel, 1" CX-format CMOS sensor and full-resolution rapid shooting at a rate of 20 fps that's backed by their EXPEED 5A image processor.
The camera can also shoot full high definition 1080/60p video and shoot up to 120 fps in 720p resolution. It can also very impressively shoot full 4K resolution video at 15 fps. The camera also features a tilting 3" 180-degree display and has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC technology for easy pairing and image sharing.

While mirrorless cameras may be the future, Nikon won't be putting a stop to its traditional DSLR line anytime soon. They've just announced their new D7200 and they're hoping to attract buyers with a lightweight body and a robust feature set that made the previous model so popular with shooters.
