United Shapes Snowboards

The Space Cadet 001 by United Shapes is a freeride-focused board designed by filmmaker and pro-snowboarder Gray Thompson. Tuned for his style of riding, the board shines in deep powder and is ideal for all-mountain riding.

The cadet is sized at 156cm and features their own proprietary camber profile, a subtle taper that enhances the ride in powder, and specially designed sidecut that is optimized for deep carving. As for construction, the board features a sandwich construction with an aspen/pine wood core, trixial fiberglass, directional carbon stringers, VDS dampening, a sintered base, and a structural base finish.

The all-wood board allowed them to design a snowboard with surfboard rockers and a binding-less design that's perfect for new riders and experts alike. The Mountain Surfer comes in at 4'6 (139cm) and features removable foot hooks, foam traction pad, and a leash with a carabiner clip in case you run into some trouble on the hill.

Nike's football program is primed and ready debuting their newest high-performance cleat, the Vapor Ultimate.

Taking advantage of Nike's Flyknit tech, the Vapor Ultimate combines that second-skin feel of Flyknit with the Swoosh's plate and traction tech. Nike has debuted the Vapor HyperAgility Cleat, its second football cleat built using 3D printing technology. Built for the shuttle “5-10-5″ drill, the Nike Vapor HyperAgility cleat has taken athlete agility to a new level. The cleat’s unique plate design uses an amplified, tri-star stud shape enabling maximum speed on turf while creating the optimal traction needed to decelerate and change direction quickly. The cleat’s upper is constructed using dynamic Nike Flywire cables, individually hand threaded through the plate and under the foot, providing maximum lockdown to prevent slippage inside the cleat. The mid-cut design also features a proprioceptive compression collar providing a closer fit as well as protection from the studs.

Octovo x Tilley Surfboards

The second in their Off Map collaboration series, accessory label Octovo teams up with Port Orford, Oregon's Tilley Surfboards, a shop located on Oregon's southern coast.

For this collaboration Octovo and Tilley created five individual surfboard designs using locally sourced, custom-milled wooden skins that are combined with hand-shaped foam. Each board has its own graphic theme and come with a leash cup cast in titanium or bronze. Each board also includes a specially-designed bag that features leather covers for the nose and tail and the rest of the bag is made from a padded, UV and water-resistant material to protect your board on the road.

A skater-owned company out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Skate Mental recently teamed up with Dutch artist Parra to produce a limited edition cruiser skateboard. Complete with grip, bearings, bolts, Independent trucks and wheels, the deck features the artist’s signature curved post-pop imagery, highly saturated colors, and vibrant hand-drawn letters and words. Deus Snowboards

Now that they've nailed surfboards and motorcycles, Deus tries its hand at building snowboards. These aren't just your average mass manufactured boards with Deus graphics slapped on. The company has teamed up with Chris Spoerri and Philipp Gossweiler, snowboard shapers who will be shaping each board by hand, one by one, in Switzerland. Deus is currently taking orders for the boards and are available through their Italian arm, Deus Milan.
