Francisco Toledo has been an important driving force in social work amongst the Mexican population for many years. As one of the most important contemporary Mexican artists of the era, he has dedicated his life to advancing the arts and helping out the less fortunate. This latest effort sees the Mexican great partner with Brietling to help repopulate Mexico’s great national emblem, the royal eagle. Together both parties create a stunning timepiece dubbed the Breitling Avenger Blacksteel Chrono “Águila Real Mexicana.” A Breitling 13 movement is at the heart of a carbon-treated 45mm case as the Mexican-exclusive watch features nationalistic tributes including a tri-colored references on the chronograph dials. The rear of the watch features special artwork created by Toledo which further honors the majestic royal eagle. Further availability for the watches, which carries a retail price of $7,000 USD, will include Masters Joyeros and Berger Joyeros jewelers in Mexico City, as well as other jewelers in Baja California Sur, Puebla, Jalisco and Quintana Roo.
